WOMEN IN BUSINESS
Bringing together businesswomen, representatives of women's business associations, and mentors for development and learning, generating new ideas, and implementing joint projects.
CRUCiAL — Civic Renaissance
The Ukrainian Platform 'Women in Business' is joining the implementation of a new international project, 'Civic Renaissance: Empowering Under-represented Groups and Cities' (CRUCiAL – Civic Renaissance: Empowering Under-represented Groups and Cities), in partnership with Katammiare APS (Italy), the Mosaic association (Poland), Sieviešu sadarbības tīkls (Latvia), and the Municipality of Bagheria (Italy).
The project aims to strengthen democratic participation and civic engagement among under-represented groups. In particular, it focuses on women at risk of social isolation, people with disabilities, migrants, formerly incarcerated people, and civil society organizations working with vulnerable groups. The project is designed to help these groups participate more actively in social processes and policy making at local, national, and European levels.

Project partners
CRUCiAL is implemented together with international organizations and a municipality that bring together experience from different European countries.
What CRUCiAL includes
- 01capacity building for organizations and mentoring programs;
- 02policy dialogue, creative workshops, and communication campaigns;
- 03research, creative writing, and storytelling;
- 04co-creation of services and policies;
- 05development of digital skills and active use of social media.
The CRUCiAL project is based on the key values of the European Union: respect for human dignity, freedom, democracy, equality, the rule of law, and human rights. By bringing together organizations and communities from different countries, it will strengthen the voice of diverse social groups and contribute to a more inclusive, diverse, and democratic Europe.
The project will run from 1 February 2026 to 31 January 2028 with support from the European Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) under the CERV-2025-CITIZENS-CIV programme. The total project budget is 128,910 euros.
